Nakisha Boulware Watts

A Charlotte native, I moved my son and I to Durham for a change in scenery and a sense of community. Not long after our move I rediscovered my love of sports and joined a community softball league, where I met my husband who was the coach.  I later decided to pick up my tennis racket again and I feel in love with the atmosphere and connection of Try Tennis.  A newbie to tennis, the instructors and classmates make learning tennis fun but competitive and you develop lasting friendships.  I have served on many non-profits boards committed to the betterment of communities and the disproportionate challenges faced by minorities. 

 

Professionally, I am a lifelong learner always looking to increase my skillset as a Data Scientist.   Now a tennis fanatic, I am constantly on the courts trying to improve my game to one day have a strong 4.0 NTRP rating when I am not with my husband and 4 boys.  I look forward to serving on the ENO CTA board of directors and being apart of the tennis community.
