Frozen Assets Day League

Days of play are Saturdays and Sundays

Match start times will vary among 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

• Team registration begins November 19 and closes December 19th (you may continue to add players to existing teams throughout the season); play will begin the weekend of January 2nd. 

 

• Schedules will be released by December 26th. 

 

• Frozen Assets is played as straight NTRP levels. This league DOES NOT count for USTA ratings and USTA membership is not required.

 

• League fees are $23/player. An additional optional $5 is being collected to donate to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. As a thank you for all your hard work, Captains play for FREE!

 

• Similar to USTA, you may play on multiple teams. However these teams must be at different levels. You are permitted to play .5 above your rating.

 

• USTA and local league rules preside (“The Code” and “Friend at Court”).

 

• Minimum roster of 6, maximum 12 players. Format is 1 singles court and 2 doubles courts. Matches are played as best 2 out of 3 sets with a 10-point tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set.

 

• All public court teams are to initially list Southern Boundaries as their home courts. Additional public courts will be used for matches as needed- Southern Boundaries is not guaranteed for all home matches for public court teams. 

 

• Private club teams may list their club as their home courts, ONLY if guest play is currently allowed- captains will then be responsible for reserving courts at the scheduled match times when schedules are released.
