2024 USTA Adult Spring League

USTA League tennis is a great way to get out on the courts, meet & play with people of your same skill level. Whether you are new to tennis, an advanced player, or somewhere in between there’s a team for you. Spring leagues take place from February to May.

Details

Important Dates:

  • Team Registration Begins: January 1

  • Captain's Meeting (Virtual): February 12

  • Team Registration Ends: January 24

  • Minimum players registered for a team: January 24

  • Season dates: February - May

Matches consist of 3 courts of doubles, plus 1 or 2 courts of singles depending on the league & age division.

Teams in most levels will enjoy 8 matches per league season. The number of matches is determined by the number of teams registered in an age group and level.

Teams compete locally and can progress to State, Sectional, & National championship play. Visit the NC Tennis website for details on state tournaments.

No player may register for a team in a league lower than their rating. For example, a 3.0 rated player can play on a 3.0 or a 3.5 team, but cannot play on a 2.5 team. Players may only play on one team per NTRP and age level. For instance, an 18 & Over 2.5 woman may play on a 2.5 weekday or weekend team, but not both. She may additionally play on a 40 & Over 2.5 team if she is old enough.

If you are not rated (NTRP), please visit Tennislink and self rate.  The self rate process is free and takes under 10-minutes to complete.
